A good day!
Well today has been a good day so far! No morning sickness today!! Woo Hoo! We are doing our very best to make Lil Mann a part of each and everything we do. So far he has really enjoyed giving the baby hugs and kisses. I am really wanting to make him very involved after the baby is born as well, hoping that will cut down on the jealousy that might arise. So much prayer lol Better go for now............will keep you posted!

WE ARE HAVING BABY #2
Well hey there everyone! I guess you could tell by the title what this is about lol. That's right, David and I are having baby #2! We are so happy and excited. A little nervous too (to be completely honest.)
The journey here started back in December 2008. We had said that we would start trying for another baby when Lil Mann turned one that way they would be about 2 years apart. Well Lil Mann turned one on January 18, 2009 and let the journey begin. There were a few times over the monthes when I thought I was pregnant, would get all excited, take a test, only to find out I wasn't. I was beginning to get a little down but then felt conviction.........I told David "If we never get to have another baby, we have to know that we are truely blessed to have the lil boy we were already blessed with because so many people never get that chance.
Well, recently I had began to feel really tired and a little uneasy. So before clown outreach last Saturday we took a test..........much to our dismay it showed negative. We were both pretty down and I told David " I want to be pregnant so bad." I continued to feel the same and so after church Sunday morning I told David that I really felt I should take another test. He suggested we should wait a week to see if anything changed since we had just went through the process and it didn't bring the results we anticipated. Sunday night after church I felt totally wiped out and really felt we should take another test so we went to Wal-Mart and got one.
We came home and before we got out of the van we prayed that no matter the results we were going to be happy and know that God was in control. As soon as we got in the house I took the test and then came in the living room with David to wait the agonizing three minutes. During those three minutes David and I hugged and told ourselve that we would be ok if it was negative. When the 3 mths, I mean 3 minutes passed we both walked in the bathroom together to look at the little stick that seemed to hold our future. After a couple looks of disbelief we both screamed "THERE ARE TWO PINK LINES, THERE REALLY ARE TWO PINK LINES!" We then began to cry thank God. The next day we went to the Midwest Pregnancy Center where they confirmed the results. They figured us to be 8 weeks along and due on Lil Mann's birthday January 18! I guess they really will be 2 years apart.
We are very excitd and consider ourselves blessed beyond measure! Also, my best friend Lisa Sorah is pregnant so this will be fun to be pregnant together.

The Little things in life that mean the most!
Hey there everyone! I was just sitting here thinking about all the little things that mean the most to me. Things like watching my son get excited over a cup of ice, or my husband making a goofy face at me from across the room, that phone call from my mom just to make sure everything is going ok, laughing with friends till you cry, and that relaxing walk in the park while your one year old son disovers the newest slide. These are all things I would not ever want to live without but also take for granit. We spend so much time and money on trying to be "entertained" but if we would stop, take a deep breath, and look around we would discover that the best entertainment in the world is free.

Tiny Treasures!
Life is filled with alot of great things but children have to be one of the best! I am blessed to get to work with several at Tiny Treasures and I love them all. Each child posses their own personality, likes, dislikes, and attitudes. There are days when those likes, dislikes, personalities, and attitudes will send you running for cover but when one of them runs up and hugs your neck, it makes it all worth it.

New Realization!!!!!
I just realized something hilarious today. We work ourselves to death to get our homes all nice, neat, and organized so it won't be as hard on us. But then we work ourselves to death to keep it nice, neat, and organized. Is a woman's job never done? hahaha
Actually it is nice to have it all done so that on some off chance you might get a free minute to sit here and blog lol.
